Happy holidays!
Hope everyone has a fantastic time over the holidays and we look forward to seeing all of the children back on Tuesday 5th November!
Spooooooooky
There have been some strange things happening in RRH during the last day of school. Our dark den got infested by snakes and spiders, spooky stories and even a cauldron! A skeleton appeared on our classroom door and some children even spotted a bat! I think we might have a scary visitor paying us a visit when we come back after the holidays!
How relaxing!
RRH were very relaxed today. We did some peer massage, the children really enjoyed it. Sophaire said she was falling asleep!
Dark den fun!
Can you smell that...?

Did you see that...?
RRH have been talking about how important our eyes are this week. We have been trying to do things without using our eyes - it was very tricky! The children made binoculars and looked for shapes around the environment. Can you see any shapes at home?

Mmmmmm
The children in Reception have been busy decorating biscuits this afternoon! We made them look like faces as we have been learning all about ourselves and our senses.
Reminder and comments
Please could all parents ensure that they have returned their child's consent booklet back to school. Without it your child will not be able to attend any school trips we go on. There is also a section about digital photographs. Signing this part of the booklet will allow us to put more photographs on our blog, so you can see more of what we have been up to!
Also, I have now enabled 'comments' so if you would like to comment on a post, click on the comments and choose 'add a comment'. You will need to change the 'google user' to 'name' and put your name in for the comment to come through. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Miss Holland
Sssshhhhhh can you hear that?
RRH have been concentrating hard this week. We have been listening to lots of different sounds and guessing what they are! We made extra large ears and walked around school really quietly so we could hear even the smallest sound! Footsteps, drums, voices, and the wind were just some of the things we heard. Here is a photograph of two of our excited children just as we were setting off on our walk.
