Last week we were thinking about different things we could measure, including time. So I set the children a challenge, they had 20 seconds to build a tower. We had quite a city at the end, with most of the children wanting to beat their classmates.
This was a fun, interactive way for the children to build up their confidence with numbers. They got to see the numbers counting down on the timer, had to count the amount of blocks in their tower and then record their score on a whiteboard to see who was the overall winner!
