Creepy Crawley Roadshow

The Creepy Crawley Roadshow arrived at school and John and Tracey brought along some very special friends for us to meet.
First to arrive we're two beautiful butterflies.

Next came a very fast cockroach that tickled as it ran up our arms.

Next to say hello was a very rare stick insect that looks just like a leaf. We were not able to hold this because it was very fragile.

Then we met a Thorny Stick insect called Thelma. She was very spikey and looked just like a twig. We pretended to be trees so she would feel at home.

Tracey and John then let us hold a Giant Snail. It was very slimey but did you know that snail slime helps to clean and heal any cuts that might be on our hands. RKB told Mrs B that they would like a Giant Snail like Brian for their class pet!

Next to arrive was a very special visitor. The one and only Incey Wincey Spider. We sang her rhyme very quietly so we didn't scare her away and she came to say hello.

Soon it was time for John and Tracey to go but before they left they let us meet one last friend. Lots of the children were very brave and wanted a photo with him. It was a beautiful brightly coloured corn snake.
