Happy holidays!

Hope everyone has a fantastic time over the holidays and we look forward to seeing all of the children back on Tuesday 5th November!

Spooooooooky

There have been some strange things happening in RRH during the last day of school. Our dark den got infested by snakes and spiders, spooky stories and even a cauldron! A skeleton appeared on our classroom door and some children even spotted a bat! I think we might have a scary visitor paying us a visit when we come back after the holidays!

How relaxing!

RRH were very relaxed today. We did some peer massage, the children really enjoyed it. Sophaire said she was falling asleep!

Dark den fun!

We added a UV light to our dark den this week. The children enjoyed experimenting with it, making their clothes, stones and teeth glow up!

Can you smell that...?

We have been using our noses this week, smelling lots of different things. The children then voted for their favourite smell. The smells were: Strawberry, mint, chocolate, vinegar and onion. Chocolate was the winner, followed closely by strawberry!

Mud Pie Alert!

We opened our 'mud pie' zone in our outdoor area last week. The children had a great time mixing the compost with water, pouring, scooping and generally getting very messy!

Fun in the sawdust!

The children in RRH made a mess last week. We had numicon pieces and numbers hidden in a big tray of sawdust for the children to search through. It was a very popular activity and the children took it in turns to find matching pairs!
